My chocobo is here. Peki is a wild-caught Rouncey, but he can fly like the best of the Ishgardian Flyers.

My husband's amaro, Seto, is here and I hatched mine last year. Seto and Hythlodaeus are both standard Grey Tails. Amaro are another species of large companion bird, but very different in build from chocobo!

[ She is clearly a big fan of Large Murderbirds. ]

Alright, you lost me at Rouncey and Isgardian, but none of the chocobos I know about can actually fly. never heard of an amaro either, but how'd you get them here at all?

They're different breeds of chocobo. Different breeds have different builds and temperaments better suited to certain environments. Rounceys are well-rounded but don't excel at any one thing.

I'm fairly certain our representative 'deity' brought our beloved companions as bribes.

Yeah, we got those. Yellow chocobos, as opposed to the golden ones, which excel at everything. There's ocean, mountain--different breeds best for different environments.

What does colour have to do with it? Certain breeds can more commonly have a specific shade of plumage associated with the desired genes, but you can change the hue depending on what they eat.

I once accidentally turned Peki a rather lovely shade of green by letting him eat too many doman plum! Fortunately I found a han lemon and his feathers soon turned back to his lovely yellow!

[ Eorzeans love their chocobo, and Era is no exception to this particular rule. ]

Not a 'regular threesome'. We just have our boyfriend. My husband is my soulmate in the literal sense, and our boyfriend is the person our soul has loved for over twelve-thousand years.
