Hello. Hopefully this is working.

My name is Libra, I'm somewhat new here. I wanted to reach out and see if anyone knew of a place or someone who could use the help of a Ylissean monk. I can fight well with an axe, but I tend to focus on healing.

I prefer to keep myself busy for multiple reasons, so please let me know.

Also... this is more personal, but has anyone here been able to get over a dislike of human contact?

Would you clarify what an Ylissean monk is? Would it involve anything more notable beyond the fighting and healing that you mention? And can you describe how you heal in more detail?

As for the question, are you something other than human?

Really, we're more prayer than anything else. But, the fighting and healing seem more apt here than praying, although it's most important. Healing is done by magic, through a staff I carry, if that's the information you're wanting.

[A pause.]

What do the prayers accomplish?

I would be interested in seeing how your magic works. Is the staff a conduit or the source of the healing?

...So you are human, but you dislike human contact? That would appear to be a psychological issue. My expertise doesn't lie in that field.

We're a religious order. It's part of our vows.

As only certain people can use them for healing, I believe they would be a conduit.

It's connected to something from childhood.

I see. I would like to observe how your method of healing works.

What if this was a combination of a feeling of want, and a feeling of need? It's not fully that I'm required to?

While it's something I haven't overcome, it is something I've been wanting to work on. Some of my friends at home were trying, and some progress was made.
